The Manwan Fairies center around the realm of Roan, which houses the capital of Roan, where the palace resides.
Matchbox-sized homes and shops are tucked into the crooks of enormous trees, lit by candles behind gem-covered windows. Fairies change from seven feet tall to seven inches as they enter its borders. Gems are everywhere, used for goblets, dishes and lampposts — and nobody uses money: fairies trade their talents instead.
